Sculpture

My concept for this sculpture was based on the idea or rather the practical implementation of ‘helping hands’. ‘Helping hands’ may be recognized as an origination or literally being in the form of lending a helping hand. It is important for us to look after our natural environment as we constantly take so much from it that we barely give back by cultivating it or simply just taking care of it. Nature is natural, how we live now is not.

We are part of nature, the more we drift from it the less human we become and without it, we cannot exist. Mankind and the environment are interdependent, they will always co-exist. One can't be without the other. This was the awareness I am trying to communicate, we need to contribute to the growth of our natural surroundings by playing our roles. Nature does so much for us, the least we could do is lend a ‘helping hand’.
